Thrift Store

Yellow Swish

Shop.
Donate.
Volunteer.

The Communities In School Thrift Store is more than just a place to shop—it’s a direct way to support students in our community. Every item you donate or purchase helps fund programs that keep kids in school and on the path to success.

We gratefully accept gently used clothing, shoes, household items, and small furniture. Your donated items are turned into essential support for students and families across South Central Texas.

We are always looking for helping hands at our Thrift Store! Volunteers play a big part in keeping our store in tip-top shape. If you’d like more information on how to get involved, please contact cisthrift@cissct.org

  • Leaving items outside after hours is considered illegal dumping and creates extra costs for our nonprofit—taking valuable resources away from students.

  • Broken or damaged items
  • Mattresses or box springs
  • Large appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers)
  • Hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, etc.)
  • CRT (Cathode Ray Tube)TVs or outdated electronics

Thank you for helping us provide quality items in a respectful and responsible way.
Together, we’re building a stronger community—one donation at a time.
